What Cexref does

Exchange information often mixes technical descriptions, regulatory language and promotional statements. Cexref’s role is to separate those elements and explain their practical significance. We can take a favorable view of a platform’s approach without treating every statement about it as a guarantee.

We publish research and commentary. We do not operate an exchange, hold customer funds, arrange trades or handle account verification and withdrawals.

How the site developed

Cexref started as a third-party study of Anmrex and later expanded into a multi-page website. That history explains the concentration of our early coverage; it does not represent an official relationship with the exchange.

The platform-specific material is now collected in the Anmrex review. This website’s About and FAQ pages explain Cexref itself. Our published coverage remains limited, and we do not present it as a comprehensive survey or ranking of the exchange market.

Editorial independence

Cexref has no official affiliation with Anmrex. As stated in our editorial policy, we do not accept payment for coverage, favorable conclusions or content placement. The site’s review links do not contain referral codes.

Research subjects are not the publisher of Cexref. References to a platform, regulator, auditor or service provider identify the subject or context of our analysis; they do not imply that those organizations endorse this website.

Our opinions remain open to revision when the underlying information changes or a factual error is identified.

How we assess information

Public records

Registration and authorization information must be interpreted against the named entity, jurisdiction, activity and date. A record can establish a specific administrative status without establishing overall platform quality or suitability for every reader.

Platform descriptions

Published explanations of custody, security controls and governance help us understand a platform’s stated operating model. They are useful source material, but describing a control is different from independently testing its implementation.

External reports

Certifications, assurance reports and reserve disclosures are read according to their scope, covered period and issuing organization. Different types of reports answer different questions; their titles alone do not establish equivalent levels of assurance.

Editorial assessment

We explain why a design choice or disclosure is useful and where it leaves questions unanswered. A positive conclusion expresses our assessment of the information discussed, not a certification of solvency, security or future performance.

What our reviews do not claim

Our current review is based on public information. It is not presented as a hands-on test of deposits, trading, withdrawals or customer support, or as an independent audit of internal systems.

We do not assign numerical ratings without an explained scoring method. A page update records an editorial revision; it does not, by itself, mean that every underlying record has been freshly checked.

Corrections and updates

Material corrections should identify what changed and why. The review includes an editorial update note, and the site distinguishes revisions to its presentation from new research findings.
