Reader questions
Questions about Cexref.
What we publish, how we work and how to get in touch. Platform-specific analysis is kept in the relevant review.
What is Cexref?
Cexref is an independent editorial website publishing research about cryptocurrency exchanges. We examine public information about custody, compliance and transparency and explain what it supports.
Is Cexref a cryptocurrency exchange?
No. Cexref does not provide trading accounts, accept deposits, hold customer assets or process withdrawals. It is an information website.
Why does the current research focus on one exchange?
The site began as a third-party Anmrex study. That review remains our current published platform assessment. We explain this limited coverage rather than presenting the site as a comprehensive exchange comparison service.
Does Cexref have an official relationship with Anmrex?
No. Cexref is not owned or operated by Anmrex and is not its official website or support channel. The exchange is a research subject, not the publisher of this site.
Can an independent review reach a positive conclusion?
Yes. Independence concerns how a conclusion is reached and whether interests are disclosed. A favorable assessment should still explain its evidence, scope and limitations, and remain open to correction.
How does Cexref use public information?
We distinguish public records, platform descriptions, external reports and editorial interpretation. Those sources do not offer the same level or type of evidence. Read our methodology for the distinctions used in our research.
Does Cexref test deposits, trades or withdrawals?
Our current review is a public-information assessment, not a hands-on account test. It should not be read as evidence that Cexref completed a deposit, trade, withdrawal or support interaction.
Does a review recommend that I open an account?
A review provides analysis rather than a personalized recommendation. Availability, legal eligibility, fees and account terms can depend on your location and circumstances and should be checked directly before using any platform.
Does Cexref receive payment for favorable coverage?
Our editorial policy does not accept payment for coverage, favorable conclusions or content placement. Review links on this site do not contain referral codes. See editorial independence for more detail.
Where did the separate review, security and compliance pages go?
Their platform-specific material has been consolidated into the Anmrex review. Earlier page addresses lead to that review or its relevant sections.
What does a page’s updated date mean?
It identifies an editorial revision. It is not a promise of real-time monitoring or confirmation that every source has been rechecked on that day. Significant changes are described in the review’s update note.
How can I suggest a correction or contact Cexref?
Email info@cexref.com with the page URL, the statement you are questioning and a supporting source. Please do not send sensitive account information. Cexref cannot provide support for exchange accounts.
